Event: 7 Churches Pilgrimage

Come and join us this May 15th, for the Seven Churches Pilgrimage in Sydney.
Following in the tradition of St Philip Neri of Rome, the Emmanuel Community invites you on a Seven Churches Pilgrimage in the “Little Australian Way”. This 12 km of reflection, praying and walking will visit significant historical Catholic Churches in Sydney.

Times and Location
Starting at Our Lady of Mt Carmel, Waterloo.
8:30am Mass
9:30am Pilgrimage begins (a short reflection will be offered at each Church followed by time for short prayer)
4:00pm (estimated) North Sydney followed by an early dinner/drink.

BYO
‣ Lunch, water, snacks
‣ Wet Weather Gear (poncho, umbrella)
‣ Sun protection gear (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses) + band aids if you are prone to blisters
‣ Rosary Beads
* Note: The pilgrimage will go ahead with wet weather unless severe weather warning is predicted.

Transport
Public Transport
Central Station: catch Bus 343 and 320
Wynyard Station: catch bus 320

Drive
For those wishing to drive you can either park near the Church at Waterloo (limited parking) or North Sydney and catch the 320 Bus from North Sydney to arrive at Waterloo.

Everybody is invited to this pilgrimage, however, please ensure that they can walk the full 12km.

➎. St Patrick’s, Church Hill
➏. St Brigid’s, Millers Point – oldest Church in Australia
➐. Mary MacKillop Place North Sydney (note the chapel will be closed)
